What you get with Comicpix
Comicpix makes a personalized 12-page comic that you read online and can download as a PDF. The cover is drawn first; after you unlock the comic, the pages are drawn one by one and you can read them as they arrive. Every style is an illustration, so the result is drawn art of you, not an edited photo.
Start on the photo to comic page to see how one photo becomes a comic, step by step, and browse the 12 comic art styles before you pick one.
A comic also works as a gift: a personalized comic book that puts a partner, a parent or a friend in the lead role, with their own story on the pages.
Comicpix works on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps. On the web, plans are monthly and you can cancel online; the iPhone app uses the same account as the web and is sold through the App Store with its own in-app purchases. The Android app is on Google Play.
